From the rolling hills of Collio in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the 2024 Ribolla Gialla DOC Collio from Plessiva Isidoro Polencic is a vibrant and mineral-driven expression of one of the region’s most historic native grape varieties. Grown on the estate’s renowned ponca soils of marl and sandstone, the wine captures the freshness, tension, and elegance that define great Collio whites.

Pale straw yellow with green reflections, the nose opens with delicate aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, white peach, and fresh alpine herbs layered alongside subtle saline and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is crisp, energetic, and beautifully textured, showing bright acidity balanced by impressive depth and finesse. Flavours of lemon zest, grapefruit, orchard fruit, and crushed stone lead into a long, refreshing finish marked by purity and salinity.

Extended lees aging adds softness and complexity while preserving the wine’s naturally lively and refreshing character.
