How We Operate

Liquid Portfolio operates as a Licensed Representative of a Manufacturer under authorization from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). We facilitate the purchase and delivery of wine through the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) Consignment Program. As a licensed representative, we do not sell wine directly to consumers; rather, we process transactions on behalf of the LCBO.

Wine listed on our Website is held at the LCBO’s consignment warehouse until an order is placed. Pricing includes LCBO sale prices, applicable fees, and service charges from Liquid Portfolio. LCBO sale prices are available upon request.

If the LCBO contacts you regarding your purchase history, you are under no obligation to respond. Should you have concerns regarding the use of your information, please notify us immediately.

User Obligations

The sale and distribution of alcohol are subject to strict regulations. By using this Website, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, including:

  • Not purchasing or receiving alcohol if you are under the legal drinking age of 19.
  • Not requesting shipments outside of Ontario, as we are only authorized to deliver within the province.
  • Ensuring that deliveries are received by someone 19 years of age or older with valid identification.
  • Not reselling wine unless you hold the appropriate AGCO-issued liquor license.

If you plan to sell or serve alcohol at an event, you must obtain the appropriate Special Occasion Permit (SOP) from the AGCO. It is illegal to sell alcohol from a private residence.
