Massolino - 2021 Barolo DOCG

Produced in Serralunga d’Alba, the heart of traditional Barolo country, the 2021 Barolo DOCG from Massolino is a beautifully structured and age-worthy expression of Nebbiolo that combines precision, power, and elegance. The exceptional 2021 vintage brought freshness, concentration, and remarkable aromatic clarity, all of which are reflected in this classic Barolo. 

Brilliant ruby garnet in colour, the nose opens with lifted aromas of wild rose, violet, red cherry, orange peel, and wild strawberry layered alongside notes of star anise, tobacco leaf, graphite, and subtle earthy spice. On the palate, the wine is refined yet deeply structured, showing vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins, and impressive mineral tension. Flavours of Morello cherry, blood orange, licorice, eucalyptus, and savoury herbs carry through a long, elegant finish with exceptional persistence.
