Deep ruby purple in colour, the nose opens with expressive aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, plum, and violet layered alongside hints of sweet spice, cocoa, and subtle earthy minerality. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with juicy acidity, silky tannins, and remarkable freshness. Notes of black raspberry, sour cherry, licorice, and gentle baking spice lead into a long, energetic finish that makes the wine both approachable and food friendly. The natural brightness typical of Barbera is beautifully balanced by Massolino’s refined winemaking style.
