Produced in Serralunga d’Alba in the heart of Piemonte, the 2023 Langhe Chardonnay from Massolino is a refined and mineral-driven expression of Chardonnay that combines the richness of the grape with the precision and elegance of the Langhe terroir. Sourced from limestone-rich vineyards typically associated with great Nebbiolo, this wine balances texture, freshness, and structure with remarkable finesse. 

Bright straw yellow in the glass, the nose opens with aromas of ripe orchard fruit, peach, green apple, citrus, and delicate floral notes layered alongside pronounced minerality and subtle oak influence. On the palate, the wine is broad and textured, showing ripe stone fruit, lemon zest, sea salt, and a gentle creaminess from lees aging, all supported by vibrant acidity and a long mineral finish. Partial aging in barriques, casks, and cement tanks adds complexity while preserving freshness and purity.

Unlike heavily oaked international Chardonnay styles, Massolino’s interpretation remains elegant, structured, and distinctly tied to the Langhe, offering both immediate drinkability and excellent aging potential.
