Cascina Boschetti Gomba - 2019 Barolo Sernie DOCG 1.5L

From the renowned hills of Barolo in Piemonte, the Boschetti “Sernie” Barolo DOCG is a powerful yet elegant expression of Nebbiolo, crafted with precision and respect for tradition. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards, this wine reflects the depth, structure, and complexity that define great Barolo.

In the glass, it shows a deep garnet hue with ruby reflections. The nose opens with layered aromas of red cherry, dried rose, wild berries, tobacco, and subtle spice, followed by hints of leather and earthy minerality. On the palate, the wine is structured and refined, offering firm yet polished tannins balanced by vibrant acidity and remarkable length. Notes of dark cherry, licorice, cedar, and savoury herbs lead into a long, elegant finish.

A classic Barolo built for both immediate enjoyment with decanting and long-term cellaring.

Perfect alongside braised meats, truffle dishes, aged cheeses, and rich Northern Italian cuisine.
